Closing Ceremony and Handing Over Ceremony
Today, we had closing ceremony and handing over ceremony. Shared a little about my thought on what is ahead - to treasure the days ahead and make good use of it. Based on Moses' Psalms 90.
I apreciate that in a mission school, that taking over leadership is not just me but God commissioning the stewardship. It is humbling. I chose the hymn 'Great is thye Faithfulness' to remind myself and the school that God is faithful. Where we are today is because of His Grace and what we will be, is also due to His faithfulness. Interesting, Kim Soon and I both had this hymn for our wedding!
My prayer: Lord, I am at your will, to serve to glorify You, to serve your people and your purpose. Amen

Good bye Bedok North. Hello St Hilda
It seems so fast. This is probably my shortest posting, 22/09/09 to 10/10/10 is my stint in Bedok North Sec. Too short really to build lasting relationship and friendship. I am thankful still to God to know wonderful people in BNSS. The teachers are committed, hardworking and dedicated. They meant well for the kids. The kids there really need lots of love and guidance.
I have learnt the importance of prayer in one incident of trying to resolve a matter.
I wish I could do more there. I hope I had contribute to some positive climate to the school, perhaps some refreshing moments for them.
I think it is really God's timing, that I have a chance to be part of St Hilda. Last year, after LEP, I could be posted to head some school, and then I would not stand a chance to join St Hilda. God has always been leading and sometime it is not easy to know what is His plan. But the assurance of Him leading gives peace and joy, and freedom - to do His will whereever I am.
Lord, please help me to be a faithful servant, whereever You place me. Amen.
