Carol by Candlelight
Had a blessed time worshipping God thru carol by candlelight.
Karis performed in the pageant as an angel. Went down to church at 3.30 pm for them to rehearse. This is her first public performance. Zuriel wasn't keen to perform, citing that he was shy and that he could not remember the lyrics and melody. Anyway, did not want to force him too much.
It was meant to be outdoor but it rained. Around 5 pm, it stopped and we thought we could have it outdoor. Son and me actually helped to dry the chairs. Sadly, it rained again. Be neverthess, rain or shine, we are not going to let that affect our worship to God.

Unwed Mother
Christmas is coming, a little thot on Christmas.
Strait Times published an article yesterday about unwed teenage mothers and their plight. One fact that is easily forgotten, Mary, mother of Jesus, was also an unwed teenage mother. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that it is admirable or to imitate unwed teenage mother. I am trying to point out that Mary knew that she would have to face the jeering and look by the people in her village because of her situation. Yet, she said, "I am the Lord's servant, may it be to me as what you have said."
It was obedience to the end. As Christmas approaches, it is not about the glitters on the Christmas trees or shopping malls. It is about returning to God in obedience.

Back to Batam and back
Went for a short family get away to Batam Harris resort with my family. A short but pleasant time. Enjoyed those moments.
