PM visits Senja
PM Lee came and my school's band performed very well. A proud moment for us all.
My family went down. My son wasvery curious to meet the PM. So, here is the shot.
They also took a pic with Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister in PM Office. He was very friendly.

A different Birthday
This is one birthday that I can't remember. I was exceptionally busy and realy, have not much time to reflect as I would wish to have.
I had to attend to a birefing, so that was no way I could take leave in the morning. But I took leave in the afternoon to accompany my dad to be admitted for an operation to remove a cancerous growth.
I ended buying a cake for my daughter and for myself!
But I am thankful. I have a father to care for, a daughter and family to celebrate my birthday with. And there were friends who dropped SMSes to wish me. One of them, from my former student, was especially meaningful and I pray that it is and will be true: Imagine how many lives will be different if not for you. Happy Birthday.
I wish my life is one that impacts many lives - that they know there is a God who cares.

Batam on a working day
Went to Batam today, with some colleagues. Before you starting guessing.. I went there for a working trip. We were there to recce to see if the hotels have the facilities for our staff retreat.
Anyway, I am glad to be in Singapore.
Eliora vomited today, everyone at home is down with flu and cough.
My dad is going to be admitted to hospital tomorrow for an operation to remove a cancer growth. Touched by the concerns expressed by Church staff and friends.
