Eliora went to a baby show (competition) organised by the CC. Not really to win but for the fun and the door gifts. :P

Father-Son Dialogue on Girl Friend
We had an interesting bed side dialogue, before our before-sleep-prayer.
Background. Son - handsome; Father - also handsome (of course la, same gene). Jessica - pretty, according to son. No pic to confirm. Mrs Teo - son's Form teacher. R_____ - some naughty character.
S: Jessica wants to be my friend now.
F: Last time she didn't want to be your friend. Now she wants. Why?
S: Because I good boy now.
F: What did you do that you are a good boy.
S: I keep quiet, do my work fast and I don't do funny thing, like my friend R_____.
F: That is good. Jessica doesn't like you to do funny thing?
S: Ya. She thinks it is noisy.
F: Do you like to do funny thing like R______?
S: Very funny.
F: What did R_____ do?
S - perform some funny stunt.
F: When R_____ do the funny things, Mrs Teo like it?
S: No.
F: So it is good to be good boy. Why do you want Jessica to be your friend?
S: Because she is pretty.
F: How is she pretty. Who told you she is pretty?
S: I know... I know...
Time to pray...

Eliora is One
8 May was the day Eliora turned one. Can't imagine one year ago, she was still so tiny. We went to the hospital in the morning and she arrived in the evening. She now can crawl, cruise, and her favourite, climb up the sofa, up the chair and then the table. Pick up paper to chew! Likes to imitate, like pretend answering a phone, blowing bubbles, says ma ma, yay yay, tay tay. She is very very cute. Cheeky and playful. But can push the limit when it is time for porriadge. haha.
We went aroung taking a look at possible primary schools for Zuriel. He declared he wants co-ed school and not boy's school. Had buffet lunch with my parents coming along. Karis favourite of the lunch was ice-cream. Zuriel favourite was Shushi. Many shushi.
We had a good ride, until when we decide to go to Salvation Army to have a look at their second hand shop. The rented car bang into the pole when parking. Cost? $450!!
Anyway, not allowing it to dampen our mood. We bought a cake for Eliora and Happy birthday to you..happy birthday to you... Happy Birthday to Eliora...
Thank God for the day!

Leader
My son came home from school today proclaiming that he was the leader of the group today. He was so happy and proud of it. What did he do? Help his friend when they were colouring. Getting the colour pencils. Ha ha.
