My Life
What is certain in life is that it's full of uncertainties. So I am gonna hide under His Wings. I don't wanna be found anywhere else.

Eliora in hospital

On Monday night, Eliora vomitted suddenly while we were watching tv programme. She continued to vomit when we tried to give her water (with some sugar) to prevent dehydration. The more we gave, the more she vomitted. I decided that she needed to see a doc. Called my bro to help drive us down to NUH A&E. We reached there about 11 plus pm. They gave her a jab to stop vomiting so that she could be hydrated. After 2 hours, the medication did not have any effect. She still vomitted even though I gave a a mere 2 ml of liquid. The doc suggested that she be admitted and put on drip to prevent dehydration.

Waited quite a while. Finally in the ward about 3 am. Then another long wait before the MO came to examine and confirm the need to drip her. Then another wait for the houseman to do the insertion. Had to be chased out when they did it. She was a brave girl. Cried a little and then was quiet. She did not cry when I went back in to carry and hug her. Later, when they open up the bandage, I realised that they were only successful then they tried on the second time. Heartache!

Thank God that she later could drink and eat and retain them. Stay there another night to observe that she is finally well. When she was well, the bed was too small a playground. Had to carry her, and push the drip around for a few stroll as she was really really bored.

Anyway, she is back home. YAY! Well and active.

Thank God for his mercy. Amen.

Here I am waiting
Abide in me I pray
Here I am longing
For You
Hide me in Your love
Bring me to my knees
May I know Jesus
More and more

Come live in me
All my life
Take over
Come breathe in me
And I will rise
On eagle's wings
Eagle's Wings
