Back and ready to go
I am back from China. Interesting trip to see culture that is near to my root and yet very different.
One funny episode was the dinner hosted by the Superintendent of the Education bureau of that district. He, his deputy and principals will take turn to come and toast. One at a time. Can you imagine, at least 10 persons will come and toast to you. You had to stop eating and stand up to accept the toast. Then we have to follow suit too, to move around and toast.
Good thing was my Principal and the other Principal insisted in not drinking liqour. I made it easier for me to drink watermelon juice instead of wine. :-)
Wuxi is the place when one of my favourite composer was born. He was the place he composed his famous "Moon reflected on the Second Spring". There is a Second Spring in Wuxi. The composer is a blind taoist by name of HuaYenJun, nick-named Ah Bin. Took a pic of the giant score.
Anyway, I am looking forward to my family' trip to Taiwan. Do pray for good weather and health and God's protection and provision.
