Fear Factor
My daughter knows how to say scare. I have not read any books on psychology of fear or anything on when the emotional state of fear starts in a person. But just based on two children, I suspect it is a later stage development. Karis used to walk around in stranger's house or shopping centre without turning back to check if we are around.
Recently, she gotten a way to handle fear. When watching TV, coming to exciting, suspenseful moment, she actually uses her hand to cover her eyes and look through her fingers. ha ha. It was really funny. When it is really scary, she runs to us.
