Daily Verse: Psalm 34:22
"The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned."
Walking with God involves trust. It is never about a journey of sight but a journey of faith. Had a chance to watch the movie 'Village'. It was interesting to watch the heroine, blind and yet walking through the forest rumoured to be the residence of the 'unmentionable thing' . In fact, her blindness turned up to be her strength. She just had to trust her father's instruction on how to get pass the forest and good memory to overcome the risk of being lost.
And journey with God requires that. To trust His instruction and to remember. That's why in the Bible, God constantly told His people to remember His covenant. Jesus told His disciple to have Holy Communion to remember Him.
Lord, help me to trust and to remember. So that my sould is preserved. Amen.
