While travelling down to NUH for my medical review of my back, I rec my ex-student sms that her dotta (Le Shane) will be on TV program's about Zoe preparation for baby tomorrow. She is so happy that I think she smsed to everyone in her HP contact list. Haha.. I think if I were in her position, I would too. Such joy and pride! Anyway Pauline was a playful but kind-hearted student of mine. Still remember her youthful smile. Sometime she sat right at the front during lesson. Now she is a mother of two!! Time flies!

While this mother celebrated, I know another mother cried. Remember some weeks ago I shared about my wife's friend from the mothers' group? Her baby girl was born without anus and had to be operated and she was suspected to have Down syndrome. Today, while i was still struggling with Reap, my wife opened her mail. Her friend called the doc to ask about the DNA analysis. The report showed that the baby has Down syndrome but they are not sure of the degree. The mother cried. She confessed she didn't know what to do next. She was lost. She didn't know if she should continue to pray for God's healing. At the end of her email, she quoted Psalm 139. Somehow, she will trust God to lead on. What great faith she has!! Anyway, please pray for the little baby girl (Le Ann) and the family.

Can there be just joy? Just good news? Yes!! The Day will come when Jesus will come to establish His Kingdom. He will wipe away our tears and give us smile on our face. The Day where lion and lamb can rest side by side. Till then, we know that at moments, Jesus is there to hold our hands and to wipe our tears and to carry us when we are too weak to walk.

One good news. My back dun have to be operated. Doc said my back has improved. He gave me a open appointment so tat anything I can call him directly.
