Back from from church for the Kick Off of 40 Days of Purpose. There was a short skit on what is life purpose. Funny.. dunno who wrote the script. One of my youth group members was acting. So proud of her.

The Pastor led us through a time of silent meditation and prayer, asking us to seek God's will in these 40 days. One word came up strongly. Character. I am not sure yet what it mean. But I am asking God to shape my character so that I am aligned to His purpose. It was a good short message. Talked about the presence of God means the place is holy. Remind us that as we enter the 40 days, we are entering a holy place too. Actually these 40 days coincide with Lent. :-)

I am excited about how God will use these 40 days to work on me, my family and church as a whole. I think even the community will be impacted since if our lives are focussed on God, others will be blessed too.

Today, Mulan and Meiting bought me big breakfast. Pei sei.. but appreciate their care. Voice is still no good but slightly better. So is cough but wife is getting cough. Sigh.
