It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

How important is the Word of God to me? It is so easy to wear it on the lips that God's word is important. But it is not really that easy when we seriously walk by His word. And it is every word, not preferred word. Many a time, we tend to raise certain God's commandment as higher than others and ignore other commandments. I need to take God's word seriously cos my life and eternity is dependent on it.

Lord, help me to love your word so dearly that I will live by it. Amen.
