"You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God."

The promise given to Jerusalem when it was far from its prime day. Sometime when all things seem to go against what I would consider as being blessed, I know I need to hold on to God's promises. When Isaiah spoke these words, I am sure some of the people would doubt him. But the truth is one Day God will be back to reward His people. How much comfort can the people of God draw from this promise, especially for the church that is attacked, persecuted from all angles.

Lord, I am clinging on to your Promise. Give me strength to hang on and keep my eyes on the vision that Day. Amen
